Sridharan Sriram has been named as the specialized expert of the Bangladesh group for the impending ICC ODI World Cup in India. The previous Indian all-rounder will join the crew in Guwahati from the start of the Tigers World Cup venture.

The 47-year-old had recently worked with the Bangladesh group as the specialized expert in the Asia Cup T20 in the UAE, the tri-country series in New Zealand alongside the ICC T20 World Cup in Australia in 2022.

Sriram, who played eight ODI for India, was likewise the associate mentor of the Australian group from 2018 to 2022. From 2015 to 2018, Sriram filled in as an expert mentor for Cricket Australia.

The Tigers are booked to head out to Guwahati for two practice matches of the World Cup, on September 29 and October 2 against Sri Lanka and Britain, separately, prior to moving to Dharamshala for their competition opener against Afghanistan on October 07.
